Gestern Abend hat der bekannte Coder
giantpune sein PC-Tool nandExtract r70 auf GBAtemp.net veröffentlicht.
nandExtract ist ein verbesserter NAND Extractor, welcher Bugs von ShowMiiWads und dem Wii NAND Extracor fixt. Mit diesem PC-Tool für Windows, Linux und Mac OSX kann man mit BootMii erstellte NAND Backups (nand.bin) decrypten. Außerdem ist es möglich, nützliche Informationen wie zum Beispiel Bad Blocks, Reserved Blocks oder verfügbaren Speicher auszulesen. Des Weiteren kann man einzelne Ordner extrahieren und die Boot1- bzw. Boot2-Version herauslesen.
Weitere Features sind eine attraktive, an BootMii angelehnte GUI, ein Optionsmenü und vieles mehr. Der Screenshot, welcher auch das Newsbild ist, zeigt nandExtract auf Ubuntu Linux laufend.
Im Download ist nur die Windows Version enhalten, die Linux und Mac OSX version muss man sich selber kompilieren. Eine kleine Anleitung zur Verwendung findet sich hier.
