Nun könnt Ihr
Quake auch auf der Wii spielen. Einem Entwickler ist es gelungen, eine Quake Shareware Version auf die Wii zu portieren. Wenn Ihr die Vollversion besitzt, so könnt Ihr die Datei Pak1.PAK in das ID1 Folder kopieren um auch die Vollversion nutzen zu können. Gespielt werden kann es allerdings nur mit einem GameCube Controller, da das Spiel ja nicht einfach umhgeschrieben werden kann um die Remote mit einzubinden.
Bislang liegen aber noch keine User Bestätigungen vor, das das Spiel auch läuft. Wer also einen USBGecko besitzt könnte hier ja mal Stellung nehmen.

This is a port of the gamecube Quake.
To install rename Quake.elf to boot.elf and put it in the root of your sd card. Now take the “ID1” folder and put it in the root of your USEGecko. Run boot.elf with the “Twlight Hack” and enjoy.
This is the Shareware version of quake, if you have the real game put PAk1.PAK in the “ID1 folder.
Must Use GameCube Controller.
Accessories needed: Gamecube Controller, SD card, USBGeckoy.
